Reptiles?!?

Question

I'm on a budget and want probably a Pacman frog but is their any better reptiles than a Pacman frog thats doesnt cost much like a gecko or something and if their is ccan you tall me the details they need?

well, pacman frogs are not reptiles, for one.

certin colubridae (snake) are cheap and easy keepers. they eat one a week, and can be housed comfortably in 10 to 20 gallon tank.

some good snakes i would look into are corn snakes, king snakes, rat snakes, and bull snakes.

I answered this..... crested geckos are great.

just because they are cheap doesn't mean they are a good first reptile.  don't buy a ball python for $25, that's scary.

if you like snakes some stores sell ball pythons as cheap as $25. dont go to places like petsmart cuz they charge $80. you should go to breeders for cheaper prices. there are green tree frogs that are as low as $6 and day or tokyo geckos for $15. it mostly depend on where you buy them.

well pacmans get big about 6-7 inches by 6-7 inches. they will need a 20 gallon long aquarium full grown. And as adults they do eat mice. I currently own a 8 by 8 inch pixie frog and i will warn you they are nasty. They p**p in there water once a week (oh yeah you have to clean that) and they don`t move much. But they are fun to watch and look at. I Would look into getting a crested or leopard gecko. Now wail the animal may cost more the caging and feeding will cost less in the long run. A single leopard or crested gecko can live alone in a 10 gallon tank and if you house stay around 80 degrees they don`t need heat. No need for UVB lighting or anything like that.
