What are some science research presentations in the USA, preferably the east coast, where an undergrad student may present his/her research?

Most professional scientific organizations have an annual meeting and many allow poster presentations. Almost all allow presentations of papers. Read the journals in your field. Also keep tabs on the regional scientific groups in your area (geographic as well as field of interest).

Try a professional meeting in your field, or you can go to the annual Sigma Xi undergraduate research conference - it's coming up in a few months.  Find out more here http://www.sigmaxi.org .  I participated when I was in college, and they have cash prizes for the best projects.
