Question:

Rest period for contact lenses?

Hey so I have pretty sensitive eyes with a need to wear contacts for a long time each day. Most contacts have some sort of limit in terms of hours, but what is the general rest period for your eyes between times of use? Like if I wear my contacts for 8 hours, and i take them off, and put them on in say an hour or two later, will that be enough time to give my eyes oxygen?

  1. it is advisable to remove lenses after 8hrs...or best of all to avoid wearing it

  2. Every little bit helps. What you are doing is very good.

The most important thing is to always try and remove them at least an hour before going to bed...that's when your eyes will appreciate some oxygen before closing up for the night.
