come out of Watford and go to Radlett (3miles away). There's good chinese (Tim's table), indian (Akash), classic menu (DiningRoom at the Red Lion) and a couple of Italians whose names i can't remember.

Seconded re Tim's Table.  Excellent chinese food!  Also a wonderful Indian place in Edgware, opposite where Blockbuster used to be.
