Question:

Restaurants in Manchester, New Hampshire

I'm starting college this fall at a school in Manchester and this guy who is also going to the same school who I've known since April, asked me a few nights ago if I'd like to go on a date with him once school started. He asked where I'd like to go, as long as it's reasonable and I don't know what the best and/or most reasonable places in Manchester are.

Might anyone know or have some ideas?

  1. JD's Tavern at the radisson hotel is a good place.  good food, decent prices and centrally located.

  2. Verity, I've found a local directory of restaurants that might help. You can narrow down the New Hampshire results by cities nearby to you. If you call a few of the restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you. http://www.restaurantreviewsratings.com/...

  3. Wow... I haven't been in Manchvegas since I left three years ago, but here's what I'm going to go with:

There's a little Chinese food restaurant near Stevens Park in the old Alexander's shopping center which is great food, fairly inexpensive, good times.

Otherwise, I'd say scope out the area by the mall and about a two block radius out, you'll find a few nice little places, mom and pop that are fairly cheap.

BTW, if you don't know anything about the Manchester area, I can be more specific.

  4. McDonald's is my ideal choice for first dates. The burgers there are exquisite, and the fries are deep fried.
