Restauraunts in brooklyn near kings highway?

Question

Any good restauraunts in brooklyn near or in bay ridge or maybe on kings highway, a restauraunt type like tgi fridays, that has well rated steaks and a good atmosphere. Thanks!

There is a mcdonalds, wendys, red lobster, olive garden,and thats about it

Bay Ridge has some excellent restaurants.

I love Chadwicks on Third Avenue and 89th Street (R train to 86th Street - half a block from Century 21)  They have a good prix fixe before 7 - great ravioli appetizer.  Every day they have a different special that's included in the prix fixe - about $24.  They also serve an excellent porter house and t bone - about $30.  Service is excellent and it's very comfortable.

Austin's Steakhouse is on Fifth Avenue and 89th Street - prices are just a little higher than Chadwick's - good food

Hunter's Steak and Ale House on Fourth Avenue and 94th Street - pretty good steaks, same reasonable prices as Chadwick's and Austin's

It's not a steakhouse, but you might like Greenhouse Cafe on Third Avenue and 77th Street.  They serve a $25 prix fixe with shell steak as one of the choices - good fish, too.  (Nice place for a party, as well)

There are two kosher steakhouses on Kings Highway in the low 500's - Jerusalem and Kineret - I didn't care for either one.

Every so often, I eat at Vinny II's on Kings Highway - incredibly priced specials and the food's pretty good.
