Can you paint them?

What about the stuff they put on decks?

just have to last a year, next years budget, lol

  1. I have heard there are paints out there, that will cover linoleum floors.You will have to clean it well and most likely use a good primer.

    Go to your local Big hardware store, like Lowes or Home Depot and ask the paint department guy to show you whats available.

    One other option, is to use vinyl tile to cover the floor. It's pretty easy with those pre glued ones, just remove the paper backing and line them up, well. It takes some time, but with 12" X 12" it shouldn't take too long, and they aren't expensive.


  2. I had old linoleum floor in one of my houses...I painted it with flat porch paint and coated it with spar varnish.  Worked great with three kids and a dog for over 5 years.
