Reused pregnancy test?? (just experimenting)?

Question

sorry if I spelled experimenting wrong. Any ways I did this as a little expiremnt. I took 3 pregnancy test they all said negative after about 2 hours there were no evap lines I re took 2 and both those have a faint positive line (i know your not supose to) the other one didn't. Could those be real positives or just evap lines. I'm going to take another test in a couple days.

p.s.don't worry I threw everything away and washed my hands alot I'm very clean but sometimes my curiosity makes me do crazy things.

Who knows...you did something I think no one has ever even thought to do. I doubt that the positive is accurate after getting a negative a few hrs ago. Weird question.

I know what its like to do crazy things but I definately wouldnt trust them after reusung them, I mean its weird and all but who knows what happens to them once they are used.

Nope. You can not reuse tests at all. any and all tests results are invalid.

You can drop hcg hormone straight onto a used test and it is invalid all

To get the best results take it in the morning with your first pee like the box says.

Those are evaporation lines. You are not supposed to reuse a pregnancy test, after the first time the antibody that is used to test for HCG has been used up. normally pregancy test's tell you too discard results after ten minutes

so i doubt those positivies counted sorry.

I doubt it's a very accurate reading. After it's already been used once then the test would be messed up and not pick up what it's supposed to. It was probably just overly saturated so showed up different lines. I would just get another one if you're worried about it and take it with your first morning pee since that contains the most hormone. Good luck

I have done this as well, and gotten positives after getting a negative, but was not pregnant....lol it's fun...but in my case heartbreaking :(

my sisters friend did that she had one of her friends take the test b4 she did she took the same test like to days later and it was positive.....she went to the doctors and sure enough she was pregnant .....(they were also experminting and this was also like 10 years ago haha) so it could be possible your pregnant you never know or it could be an evap line....good luck! Hope things turn out the way you want them too!
