Im thinking about getting one soon, and for anyone who has one, can you tell me what you think of it? Like a review, good or bad, if there were any problems. etc

  1. I have a nano 3g, and it works very well. For *any* iPod, I would suggest getting it refurbished. It's $50 less than the regular price, and there are just a few tiny scratches on the back. Anyway, it's very small and portable, and it doesn't feel awkward in the hand like some people say. I would get it if you store 1,000 or 1,500 songs and a few videos, but if you want to store movies or thousands of songs, you're better off with the iPod Classic.

  2. personally ive went through alot of ipods..ive been buying them and re-selling them for more..i am in high school and EVERYONE has an ipod..ive had lots of nanos that ive really enjoyed overe the years of having them..there nice and small..so u dont have to cram in places, cause it fits nice and snug in your pocket. i personally have 4 gigs on my nano and it does me fine..i havnt even filled up the whole thing yet with music

just because there small and thin dont mean there not well protected

ive dropped my nano down the stairs a couple times and dropped it on the hard ground more times than i could count..by accident though  :)

and the thing still works perfectly as if nothing has happend

the only thing i dont like about them is the metal back

it scratches very easily and they tend to build up..i can put my ipod on for the day and at the end look at the back..and it already has some scratches on it..so if u dont mind that then i totally say go for it..cause all ipods are gonna have the scratchy backs

another thing is that u cant have vids on there

when im on the go and have to sit in a car for hours

the videos tend to get me through..so if ur not a video crazy kinda guy then dont worry about it..

the nano has pretty good batterie life..ive had alot of mp3 players too..and i fully charged a random mp3 i had..and the charge only lasted about an hour and a half

    probly less

but when i have the nano on full charge..it can last me a couple days..and when it gets low i just pop it up and boom its charged again

..another thing i dont like is that u can only really get your music through itunes..that means u have to download it and everything

and im the kind of guy that DOSNT WANNA PAY MONEY FOR SONGS...

so i drag all my music from limewire to there and its free..

and i like the volume on those ipods...plug em up with some skullcandy headphones and ur good too go..especially if u like LOUD music..sometimes the ipod video is just a LIL too big...so overall..my favorite ipod is the ipod nano...so if ur planning on getting one...i say go for it...because there great mp3 players

and whever i sell people ipod nanos that are used...they are always satisfied cause those things just dont die..hope this helps bro

  3. I have a 3rd generation nano, and I haven't really had any problems with it.

    Pros

    + Small size

    + Nice design

+ Many color options - Silver, blue, green, black, etc.

+ Brighter screen with better contrast than previous generation

+ Great video option is a nice to have for sample TV shows, clips, etc

+ Works with most traditional iPod accessories (except old A/V cable)

+ Unlike iPod classic, all flash memory means less failures and breakage

+ Flash memory also awesome for running / working out

+ Slightly better sound quality than 2nd generation

    Cons

    - New design not ideal for very big hands due to smaller click wheel

    - Universal dock now required for video out (no more A/V cable)

    - Slightly shorter battery life than other iPods

    - No expandability or SD card slot like Sansa View or Creative Zen

    - iTunes software with limited native formats (MP3, AAC)

    - Coverflow still buggy / slow

    - Features built-in to competing players, like FM radio & voice recording, must be bought as add-ons,

    Hope this helps a little!
