Rick Nash vs. Marian Gaborik?

Even though i'm a Gaborik fan, i'd have to say Nash.. although, you never know what you're getting from either of them season by season...

you may see this as biased but as a season ticket holder to the blue jackets i have to go with our captain Nash...as the face of the franchise the pressure on this young star is amazing yet every game he goes out and gives his best on every aspect of the game of hockey...easily one of the most underrated players in the nhl

Gaborik will be a free agent next year, Nash a year later. Both will be $10MM signings in their free agent years.

The effect that both will have on their new teams will decide the answer. But Nash will win the Cup in 2010 when he signs with the Leafs. Gaborik will not when the Rangers over pay again.

Rick Nash. His dangles are unbelievable. A great leader too. His point production is not that high, but he has had no other good line mates to play with. He is amazing at the IIHL

Too bad he plays for an absolute joke of a franchise.

The guy is freaking amazing put him of the Wings, Rangers or a Canadian team he would be Iggy 2 or an Imported National Treasure here in the states, Zetter..who?

Rick Nash is a much better all around player.  Gaborik has great offensive potential but the fact is that Nash has been producing on a horrendous team.

Also, Gaborik sometimes has problems finding the defensive zone.  Rick Nash plays a solid two-way game.  And that's a big accomplishment considering that it must be hard to motivate yourself to get your *** back to the defensive zone when you play for the Colombus Blue Jackets.
