Ripping to dvd?

hi i have downloaded some movies and want to know how to rip them onto a dvd to watch them on my home dvd player.do i have todivert to a differant TYPE>>>PLEASE GIVE STEPS ON WHAT I NEED TO DO

It depends on the file format,If you know which ones they are you can find a convertor,So you can ripp them.

To rip a DVD is to take it off the master copy, IE rip it it.

That would be DVD Shrink.

You want to convert a movie file to DVD; for that you need the software.

Nero is the best on the market.

Movie Factory is professional, but a huge drain on resources.

Winavi does the job.

Most burning software, e.g. Nero, will burn a mixture of formats (avi, mpg etc) automatically.

Depends on what formats the movies you have are in.
