does anyone play online or just computer generated if yes where and is it anygood cheers all

Its very addictive with lots of maps and settings you can play turn games where you have 24hrs to make your move and also speed games where you have 5 mins,

There are also lots of tournaments to play as well as leagues, all scores wins and losses are a recorded and you are given a rank

well worth a visit if you are a fan of risk its the best out there,

I've got the Playstation version, I play it on my PS2.

I like it fine, there are lots of medals you can collect for winning in creative ways.  The computer generated opponents have different personalities (Washington, Napoleon, Catherine the Great) so you can plan around their different strategies.

It does have the card system for getting extra armies, there's even a glitch that lets you turn in the same cards over and over if you want or need to cheat....

I played the PC version.  The AI for the game just isn't that good.

I'm not a fan of Risk computer games. Many of the unofficial versions leave out the cards that let the players collect sets of symbols to collect bonus armies. The official version seems to give itself *very* lucky dice rolls when playing against the A.I. However, the computer game has an interesting variant that only allows players to see how many armies are in the opponent's territories with whom they share a border.
