Robbie Keane to sign for Beşiktaş
Turkish side Beşiktaş are set to sign Robbie Keane from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Republic of Ireland international has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane, and according to reports Beşiktaş are going to offer him the chance to play first-team football.
Keane spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic, and is now set for another loan spell this time in Turkey with the 13-time Süper Lig champions, as Beşiktaş are keen to bring the 30-year old to Istanbul.
Beşiktaş have added former Real Madrid player Guti to their ranks, as well as Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma, and qualified for the group stages of the Europa League, where they will play Porto, CSKA Sofia and Rapid Vienna. They, alongside Bursaspor, are the only two Turkish teams left in European competition.
