The boss at Anfield, Brendan Rodgers, has hinted he may sign Michael Owen in order to strengthen his attacking front, following the Reds 2-0 defeat against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 on Sunday.

However, while talking to the reporters in the post match interview, the Northern Irishman hinted that he could sign the Liverpool legend, Michael Owen, to ease his attacking woes.

The Ulsterman told the reporters, “Any player I believe can improve the squad I will look at. We've got a very small group, 19 players training yesterday morning, and some very young players in and amongst that.”
“I can't say no [about Owen], I always have to look and see where we can improve the group.”
Rodgers failure to land a replacement for Andy Carroll – who was sent out on loan to West Ham United close to the transfer deadline day – sparked wide scale criticism from former players and the fans.

Earlier, the striker made 297 appearances for the Anfield side in between the period of 1996 to 2004, and notched up 158 goals.
