Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, has hinted at landing a couple of new faces at Anfield in the early part of the January window.
The Merseyside club have experienced a tough first half of the season, and are expected to bring in reinforcements in January in order to bolster their prospects of claiming the Champions League berth.
Although Rodgers had ruled out the notion that the Reds will spend lavishly during the winter, it is widely believed that the Ulsterman will add to his attacking options, as he is currently over-reliant on the likes of Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling.

“We'll be able to make some additions in January to help the group,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“I always remain optimistic because of the honesty of the players but we need to be more consistent. We're hoping we'll be able to do something pretty early on in January.”
Striker, Luis Suarez, sustained an ankle injury during the midweek against Stoke City, and initially appeared doubtful to feature in the Reds next league game against Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314.
However, Rodgers has unearthed that the Uruguayan ace will feature in Sunday’s match and that his injury was of minor nature.
“He's a real robust player and is very rarely in the treatment room. He's been playing with a bad ankle for a couple of weeks and took a heavy knock the other night, but he's fine,” he added.
Liverpool currently sits at the tenth place in the Premier League’s pecking order.
