  1. roger said“I've beaten Rafa 6-love in a set, I've beaten him in finals before. I've beaten him also quite comfortably on previous occasions”, That didn't really give me the edge on clay against him”.“I haven't lost on grass for, what is it, five years now, six years?”I still definitely feel very strong about my chances and being the big favorite going into grass. Grass and clay are far away from each other (as surfaces)”.

“I don't think this loss will have a big effect on me mentally”.

SO HE HASN'T BEEN DISAPPOINTED be'coz everyone 1day loses & 1day wins so it is not fair to judge him in this way.although I belive he hasn't done his best this year,he still has alot of time.so WE SHOULD WAIT.MAYBE THIS YEAR is a black one 4 him.

  2. Yes, he did get "owned", and I'm sure he does feel embarrassed by it. To his credit, he owned up to it. He was beaten fair and square and did not look for excuses... even going so far as to shoot down McEnroe's suggestion that tiredness may have been a factor.

  3. Disagree. Nadal beat everybody in straight sets not just Roger Federer. Roger worst surface is clay and he still got to the French Open final three time in a row. Ask this question again after Wimbledon.

  4. Well, well.My opinion is that, despite the loss and clay being his worst surface,Roger is still the 2nd best player on clay in the world! However,at the moment I think Rafa is playing better tennis than him, overall.Infact I have a feeling Rafa will beat him even at Wimbledon, should they meet again this year.Roger needs to go back to the drawing board,if he must achieve his ambition of being the GOAT in tennis.

  5. I felt sorry and embarrassed for Federer.  But Nadal won fair and square.  He whipped Roger really could.  Nadal played excellently the entire tournament.  There are no more adjectives to describe Nadal's dominance on clay.

  6. I think Federer's era is not end yet, but he's a little bit going down this year. Last year RG final, he pushed Nadal to 4 sets match, but thisyear, straight set, ond he only won 4 games? Ask the statistics!

  7. Rafa is simply unreal on clay. I don't think Roger played his best tennis today by any means, but even so, Nadal is so talented on clay that even he wasn't surprised when the match was over. Usually he falls to the ground, this time he just ran to the net to send Roger off. Yeah..Roger got owned!
