I am working on loosing weight and currently have lost 75 pounds but I need to know if i am small enough to ride the rides. I would hate to embarass my family be not being able to ride once I stood in line. Does any one know what hte size restrictions are. I have seen in the past that they post signs that say riders exceding ___ inches may not be able to ride but I dont remember what number it was. Please help me

  1. I've only ever seen a person turned away from a ride once, and that was at Busch Gardens Europe (Williamsburg).  The lady was too almost too big to fit in the seats on Apollo's Chariot, but when it came time to secure the lapbelts, it took two ride operators practically sitting on the restraint trying to get it fastened before they finally told her she coudn't fit the ride.

I don't think rides really have a set restriction regarding sizes and weights, however, most coasters have a 'test' seat at their entrance that you can try out before standing in line.  Also, most coasters these days have 'fat' person seats on them now...they're seats designed with restraints that are 'extra large' to fit overweight people.

If anything, call and ask the park before you go.

  2. theres only a few rides that it has max height. most rides are 54' inches minimum to ride. For weight anything under 300 is usually fine. Ive seen people in the 350 range get on rides before. Its all about how your body weight is distrubuted. If its evenly passed around you will have no problem riding most rides. best of luck to you :)

  3. the only way u can truly know is when u try and get on a ride.
