Roller coaster tycoon 3 question?

Question

What does block section mean when your making a roller coaster and also how do you make a roller coaster go up slow on the first hill cause I keep slowing down the speed launch and the coaster goes up but then goes back down.

a block section (which isnt executed well in RCT3) is a portion of brakes that serve as a stopping point in which another train can wait...which allows more trains to be running...now about the second part of your question im a little confused by wat u mean
