  1. Hmmm its not really funny but Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause in a good book

  2. Hello there!

I really liked the book Love Walked In by Marisa de las Santos. It's witty and romantic and a great coming of age story. Some of the cinematic allusions (references to movies) may be a bit far-fetched, but the tale is amazing. The plot seems original and realistic and I reccomend it, really I do. It changed my life. I read it twice so far and I'm in love with it.

Here, I posted the summary below:

"When Martin Grace enters the hip Philadelphia coffee shop Cornelia Brown manages, her life changes forever. But little does she know that her newfound love is only the harbinger of greater changes to come. Meanwhile, across town, Clare Hobbseleven years old and abandoned by her erratic mothergoes looking for her lost father. She crosses paths with Cornelia while meeting with him at the caf, and the two women form an improbable friendship that carries them through the unpredictable currents of love and life.

Love Walked In, the first novel by award-winning poet Marisa de los Santos, is bursting with keen insight and beautifully rendered prose. Invoking classic movies to illuminate the mystery and wonder of love in all its permutations, Love Walked In is an uplifting debut that marks the entrance of an enchanting literary voice."

  3. Gone With the Wind

"Twilight" can be romantic sometimes, but not always - worth a try

    Something by Karen Kingsbury

Erm... pretty much go to your local Goodwill and they'll have tons of romance novels.

NOTE: None of these are primarily funny

  8. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide Series #1)

    by Douglas Adams

I cannot explain it. You would just have it read it. Tells you the meaning of life... which is 42. British humor.

When Lightning Strikes (1-800-Where-R-You Series #1)

    by Meg Cabot

Cute teen book with humor and a relationship, aka romance.

    Synopsis:

JESS MASTRIANI was misunderstood by her teachers and had a crush on the local bad boy, but that didn't mean she was trouble. But trouble found her when she survived a lightning strike and discovered that a newfound talent had been bestowed upon her.

Now, whenever she sees a picture of a missing child, Jess knows exactly where he or she is when she wakes up the next morning. Reuniting lost children with their desperate parents is one thing, but Jess must choose whether to use her power for good...or for evil.

  10. Im guessing you know about the Twilight Series?!? lol

and here is the Link of the Petition for MidNight Sun

  11. The Princess Bride by William Goldman.

If you're looking along the lines of Bridget Jones or something that is more like reading a romantic comedy, I think you'll probably be safe with a lot of "Chick Lit" novels. Meg Cabot (she wrote the Princess Diary series, but also has a number of "adult" novels, sometimes under Meggin Cabot) has some fun stuff. Her Heather Wells series (Size 12 is Not Fat, Size 14 is Not Fat Either and Big Boned) also are mysteries of sorts.

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books are very funny with a shot of romance/s*x as well.

Erin McCarthy is a fun read. She has her Vegas Vampires series which is fun as well as a number of stand alone novels that are both funny and s**y.

Sophie Kinsella and the Shopaholic series

Marian Keyes can be pretty amusing although she writes about serious issues.

Jane Green and Johanna Edwards & Katie Fforde.

  12. Sophie Kinseller's "Remembe Me?"

is a wonderful book...I don't quite like her other books but this one is witty, funny and romantic with a sugery sweet finish...makes you go Ahhhhh..in the end.

    see http://www.amazon.com/Remember-Me-Sophie...

Another nice book is "The Baby Trail" by Sinead Moriarty.

Its not so much of a romance book but it is very very funny! i was laughing my way while reading on the train so much that people were giving me the weird look!

  13. omg ok I love the twilight series more than any series in the world, but before I read those I read these other books that were great!   The first one was called "What My Mother Doesn't Know"  It is about a girl named Sophie who is 14, and she is writing about her life, and her 3 boyfriends.  The second one after that book, is "What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know"  this one is Sophie's boyfriend writing about how he feels, and what happens with there relationship.  You should really read them.  I loved them.  If you want to check out more about them go to the authors sight

    http://www.sonyasones.com/mybooks.htm

The other books on her sight, I have not read so just check out the ones I told you to read about, because I don't know if the other ones have romance!  Hope I helped!
