Romantic Picnic. Any Ideas?

I'm planning a romantic picnic, but I have no idea what to bring to eat. I'm planning on the picnic at Sunset Cliffs, CA

Any ideas on what I should Bring to eat?? And what to tell him to wear...Since he doesn't know what I have planned

Bring some subs, soda (bottle of champagne if ur of age) and a bag of chips.  Tell him to bring a sweatshirt (if it's chilly).

Even though the food isn't that romantic, the atmospher is so it's okay to bring subs and such.  Plus he's a guy and will LOVE the fact you bought his fav. hoagie!

well...you want something easy to eat and possibly a cold meal since you will be traveling with it.....fried chicken is always a good picnic staple, maybe some pasta salad also and something sweet for dessert.  What are his favorite things to eat is the question...maybe pick up some Chinese take out on your way there? That spot looks beautiful, I need to get out to Cali some day! Just tell him to dress comfortably for an evening in the outdoors! oh...and don't forget the beer or wine!

subs, sammiches (yes, sammic), soda, chips, etc...can't go wrong with that. tell him to wear shorts and a shirt since it's hot (duh) and if you're gonna go swimming then dile to bring an extra set of clothes, but don't tell him what to specifically wear, guys don't really like that (i should know 0_o)

bring strawberries and grapes and if your not old enough to drink buy sparkling water sparkling cider and drink it out of wine glasses. Also make finger sandwitches with different cold cuts

Well i really dont know much of romantic picnics but when i think of one the first thing that comes to mind is having chocolate dipped strawberries or strawberries with whipped topping,cool whip. try that for dessert. oh, as to what to wear just tell him to wear something comfortable depending on the weather.
