the name of the game is to win games and more importantly playoff games to get 2 da SB. romo chokes in the playoffs and if you look at his numbers 2006 he threw 13 ints and last yr threw 19. sacked 21 times in 06 and 24 in 07. a total of 19 fumbles in 06 and 07 and lost 5. he's really not that consistent. anderson is not perfect either but he doesn't turnover a lot and has better targets. i would choose anderson over romo.              cowboys suck go eagles!

i would be safe and take room you now what your going to get a solid quarterback if your a gambler take Anderson and hope he has just as good season or better than last year. there's a good chance that he will but is more than likely of the 2 to have there numbers fall.

Anderson.  Not because of his actual abilities as a QB but for the following reasons:

- Lots of time behind a now solid line with Joe Thomas who had a pro bowl worthy first year and should only get better.

- Braylon Edwards is rapidly becoming a stud WR and makes acrobatic catches of Anderson's miscues.

- The dating distraction factor:  Romo has Jessica Simpson to distract him from his game.  Anderson may have a pretty woman, but she has to compare to her friend(and Derek's) who is the most recent Playmate of the Year.

I'd go with Tony Romo. The guy has so many options to throw the ball to and his great defense gives him lots of time to throw or run with the ball. Derek Andreson is either an average or slightly under-average quarterback. Romo has better numbers and is more consistent!

Ok this is to the tool who tried to bash romo with stats (that would be footballfreak) He said romo had 19 int's last year....so did anderson.  Only romo had 7 more touchdowns and about five hundred yards more passing.    

You want consistency??  

Only four games last year where he had one or fewer touchdowns and two of them were the last two games where he sat to get ready for the playoffs ( we'll get to that in a sec).

He had ten games where he had over 100 on his passer rating and had a 96 passer rating for the year.  

Anderson only had four and averaged 82 for the year.  He had a decent year, but to be honest most teams didn't see him coming last year.  This year their focus is going to be stopping him and I don't think he will be the same when gameplans are developed to stop him.  

Romo has a better O-line, running game, talent around him, and overall team to help him out.  I honestly don't see how you could pick anderson over romo.

Oh and about the playoff thing...he has played one and a half seasons and THE TEAM lost two playoff games.  I know a few other qbs who didn't win their first few playoff games....aikman...elway..h**l elway didn't win the big one till he was 37..that's a lot of playoff games lost.  Romo is going to be fine, and so are the cowboys.

I seriously hope you went with romo.
