Ronaldo not in the Olympic Gamges?

Question

I watched the Olympics swimming, and hoped to see Ronaldo in the Diving competition. I am sure he would have walked it, but he wasn't there.

My personal opinion is that he might have winked under water, and his mascara would have run.

But why do you reckon the world's best diver missed the Olympics?

Yeah if it wasn't for the ankle problem who knows? He would have have perfect 10s across the board. Plus he already has waxed legs and armpits so wouldn't have too much preparation to do.
