Router probelm ! tough one

Question

I have a Zio router. There is only 1 model. And im trying to port foward on my router, but i don't know the password and username for the router. Zio routers come with a password and username and it isn't just admin. SOMEONE HELPPPP MEE, there site is working for me either

You can hard reset your router. Poke the reset button.

Well, we need more info like, are you running DSL or Cable.

Try this, open a browser type:

http://192.168.10.1

I hope this opens up the setup page for your router.

go to win setup

If you have DSL go to PPPOE type in you ID and Password from you Internet service provider. Verizon usually provides this.

But if you have cable, then there should not me any kind of password.

MTU 1410

Internet Auto

then click Apply

Then Save.

Look around the other tabs, there should be an area where you can change to the Internet Connection.

Anywhere it says Internet Connection Type:

DSL = PPPOE (you need a password and ID from ISP)

Cable = Automatic configuration (DHCP) =no pass or ID needed

Save.

Make sure your internet connections in your PC is set in Auto.

Start>Control PAnel>Netwirk and internet connections>network connections

go to your local area connection and right click and go to properties

in the general tab, look for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

and Click on it

CLick Properties

Obtain an IP address Auto should be checked

Obtain DNS server Auto to be checked

go to alternate configuration tab

Auto Private IP Address should be checked.

Push the button on the back of the router to reset it

in your cmd promt type ipconfig /all the gateway is the router IP

type that in your browsers and the default password for you Zio V11 router IS Admin / Password
