Rubens Barrichello?

Question

Whenever Rubens Barrichello secures a podium place in F1, he sprays his champagne, takes a big gulp of the stuff, then stumbles across the podium. He does it every time. Is there any reason why he does this?

He's not there very often, so maybe he justs forgets that the podium is there....

He's just playing to the crowd; Barrichello is one of the jokers on the F1 grid at the moment.

As Rosbif said, he plays the crowd and the crowd loves him.  Rubens is one of the guys i would like to see on the podium on a regular basis:
