I'm kinda just venting again because the amount of "why do football players wear padding?...what a bunch of si(pu)ssies" questions seem to be multiplying like Kevin Federline's offspring

My questions are:

Why do hockey goalies wear padding?

Why do welders wear masks?

Why do police men wear bullet proof vests?

stupid questions huh.....

But are they any more asinine than "why do football players wear padding?"
