Rugby training?

I'm just starting rugby at the division I level and I'll be playing wing, I'm about 5'10'' and 160ish and I'm curious as to what I can do to both increase my speed off the line, and to drop my 100m time, right now I'm about 12 flat maybe under but I want to pick it up a little, also and probably more importantly what lifts should I be doing and what number should I try for as a goal, squat 350 ex or something, thanks

  2. I would run in with weights in a backpack or roll a tyre over

    100m as fast as you can.  This will gradually increase your speed and endurance.  You should be trying to bulk up slightly, to increase your core strength and power
