I am going to be travelling to Scotland in the near future and I really want to visit a rugged beach where there are lots of rock pools/crabs/cliffsides etc to explore. Not decided where abouts in Scotland I will be going yet, so all suggestions welcome.!

  1. If I were you, I'd look more at the Northumbrian coast. It goes as far up as Scotland, and Bamburgh is splendid!

  2. The Scots dislike the English, good luck though,

  3. I would reccomend the area around Cullen in the North of Scotland. It has spectacular marble cliffs, a rocky coastline and a great deal of walking areas. Also, the town is very nice and you can see the castle which inspired Brad Stoker to write 'Dracula'.
