their respective groups ahead of top European teams.

that other teams will be hesitant to play the Bundesliga sides after their current form in the tournament.
The chief executive claimed that Bayern, Schalke and Dortmund have earned the tag of tournament favourites throughout the continent. He said that this shows that the German League is on the rise and is getting better day by day.

"At the moment, I don't think anyone in Europe would be happy about facing a German team. We, and also Dortmund and Schalke, have earned great respect around Europe," the Bayern chairman added.
