My track coach says I have beautiful strides. What does that mean? My legs are powerful, they're long, I have great running form?

  1. He means that your stride (steps/leg turnover) is effecient and graceful.  You probably run like a gazelle, even, effortless and fast.  Your stride is just a part of your form (run with your back straight, aligned with your hips, looking straight ahead and running with your arms/legs in sync.)

  2. believe he is talking about the motion of your step or "stride".  the distance that you can achieve in a single step and the form that you have must be exceptional.

  3. That's a good thing then. Your running form is probably good too. Strides are the distance between your legs when you run. Because you have powerful legs you have the energy to push off the ground and reach further.
