Russia attacking Georgia; WTF?

Question

Um, I heard a story about how Soviet Russia attacked Georgia and lol, really? Answer these questions;

#1- If this happened why is this not THE story like 9/11 was? I mean Georgia invaded, civilians killed, sound serious to me.

#2- Did anyone else hear this or is it just me?

#3- Civilians killed, the U.S. invade Russia now? Cuz they have to if Russia killed those people.

#4- Why Georgia? I feel bad for those people, first the Michael Vick thing and now Russia is bombing them.

Can someone answer thse cuz the whole situation is confusing to me; will this start WWIII, I thought U.S. and Russia are allies; is there still a grudge from the Cold War? WTF is going on here.

i was freaking out too until a little later and i realized that they said that the "president" of georgia was attacked and georgia (state) doesn't have a president. so its an eastern country. russia wouldn't invade or be able to invade the U.S. especially not with tanks which is what they used

Well, so long as they stay out of Florida. Georgia is already a wasteland. The water must be full of dumb juice. Instead of Ga. bulldogs guess they will be the Ga. bears or something.
