  1. Think the alblacks looked undercooked and they underestimated france...

Eg...When france resorted to kicking the ball away - and not running it straight back (and instantly getting turned over)...like they did in the two test tour last year..(they conceeded countless tries this way last time) this kicking tactic put the all blacks in front of the french defence all match - and not winning lightenning quick possesion behind it...the Allblacks when faced with a proper wall of defenders -  didn't really have a plan B - to break it down (apart from picking and driving two inches at a time).

Good intelligent tactics by the french and it paid off.

    Deserved winners.

    Magnifique.

  2. That refferee was apalling.

Players, countries wait 4 years for a world cup to come around and the very least they expect is that the decisions of a ref don't  affect the game.  Luke Maccalister's sin binning was a case of ( 'For goodness sake you had better be sure that if you send a man of the field in a one in 4yrs knockout game you had better be 10000% sure that the offence waranted it and that there was an offence to begin with.') The question to be asked in this game was did Macallister who pulled out of the charge HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION?

But for me the crucial point was michellac's massive Obvious

foward pass that lead to a try . That was unforgivable.

13-0 the all blacks lead by and a bogus sin-binning and a woeful foward pass was their reward for have a Referee who

ultimately decided who won the game through incompetence - Not The Players. Kudos to the French because they never gave up  but in a fair contest they never would have gotten close.

    From an Australian Wallaby Supporter.

The video ref needs to have more power.

Fair contest's are the only contests I want to watch.

  3. I agree the video ref should have more say - he should be able to determine the field ref's final call.  The video ref is in the perfect position to see anything that goes on and would have been the one to call the forward pass that the ref and the touch judges missed, as well as calling the Luke McAllister sin binning.  I think the ref's in the RWC should have to have a minimum amount of international games under their belts before even being considered for a WC game.

Am sick of hearing NZ'ers are sore losers - anyone with half a brain could see the dodgy calls the ref made right through the game.  Wayne Barnes was definitely France's 16th man today, with the touch judges on the bench as reserves.

My heart goes out to the guys on the team - and I do not think Graham Henry should be sacked for this loss, his record as AB's coach has been outstanding - and ultimately it all comes down to one thing: the f*%# up on the field that someone mistook for a referee.

  4. I would say it was the latter

  5. Poor reffing was part of the factor but losing Carter then Evans to injuries threw us way out of kilter in the first five position. We lost too many key players to injury in the second half and it ruined our composure. Still cant take anything away from France's defence. One of the best defensive efforts ever. You dont make four times more tackles than the All Blacks and beat them with an unbelievable defensive effort.

  6. No I could string along a varied number of excuses but the only one I can come up with is we got beaten by a better team.

  7. A bit of both

But on the day we were beaten

End of story, Lets move on to 2011
