The Sochaux youngster has been linked with a move away from Les Lionceaux and has indicated that he might prefer staying in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 for next season
As things stand, FC Sochaux should start preparing for life in Ligue 2 next season. Les Lionceaux did so well last season but things have terribly fallen apart for them this campaign.
Despite the presence of the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Modibo-Maiga-c26167, Marvin Martin and Ryad Boudebouz, Les Lionceaux have failed to perform well. The summer transfer window promises to be a busy one for Sochaux who are likely to see the departures of the aforementioned players.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryad-Boudebouz-c31970 are certainly the pillars of the club and they are likely to leave for new destinations when the season ends.
However, before that, both youngsters are keen to save Sochaux above anything else. The duo is looking to keep their club safe but that does not mean they will not leave the club.
Alexander Lacombe knows that holding on to the likes of Ryad and Martin would be hard for the club even if they manage to avoid relegation.
The president says that he never allows a player to leave after just one season in Ligue 1 and Marvin and Ryad have played more than 100 games in Ligue 1.
“We train players, but not to see them leave after one season in Ligue 1. Now, Marvin and Ryad, have played over 100 games at this level and it is estimated that they have served the club.”
The president says that if he receives good offers for the duo, he will sell them.
When asked about his future at the club, Ryad Boudebouz said that he is not thinking about leaving the club right now as there are more important things to deal with first. The youngster has a lot of fondness for Sochaux and Ligue 1 and says that he will
be torn to leave the club.
“I think it would be nice for me to continue to play in Ligue 1. If Sochaux managed to stay? Why not? After all, for me, FCSM is more than a club.”
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is a big fan of the youngster and would certainly eye a move for him this summer.
