HelloI am trying to output the display to the TV via S video, but all I get is a blank screen. I know I am on the correct AV channel (I am getting sound) and I have tried various ways of connecting (component, SCART adapter and SCART adapter through another appliance). I have the most up to date graphics drivers (Mobile Intel 965 chipset). I get no option for S video in the graphics properties pop-up and fn+F4 only attempts/displays a pop-up with laptop->laptop and no other options. I have tried booting with the S video cable plugged in.I have tried changing the resolution settings (although they only go down to 800x600). The freq only outputs at 60Hz, but the TV is set to accept this.I cannot find any driver/device manager entry/configuration software for the S video port.I have searched everywhere on the internet for help with no success (even using quotes around ''s video'' makes it hard to narrow down the results).I guess the main things I would like to ask are+ Is S video managed by the (onboard) graphics card and the drivers relating to it or does it have it's own driver? + Can you suggest a way to get the computer to recognise that there is an S video connection?+ Could this be a bios problem (HP bios interface is very limited)?(For a ''media'' laptop it has failed majorly - it can't use the TV card and won't output to TV :-)ThanksMark
