I called those people care givers people who ask others to help their community and people  in need, that's why people have found raiser, and people volunteer they a sk for donations so they can help people in need........... it all depends or what they asking you to donate and for what cause they salvation helps people in need, there are people who loose their homes or jobs, or who work at dead end jobs just don't pay them enough its to help people in need the salvation has a soup kitchen and clothes  and other things to help people in need you can call the people and company's and organizer who ask for help people who want to make a difference in people life's

AWESOME.......I don't know if there is a regular name for them other than Salvation Army Bell Ringers -- but they volunteer and they are good people.  Salvation Army kept us from being homeless once......I give to them every time I get a chance.
