SAT biology scores?

is a 690 a good score on the SAT II BIO for University of Maryland, BC, Howard University, etc.

For the schools that you are looking at, a 690 is an average score on the SAT Subject Test. For BC, your score may be a little low (generally they look for 710-720), but it is still not that bad. According to the Percentiles and Average Score Report on the back of the SAT Score Report, a 690 for Ecological Biology 82nd percentile and a 690 for Molecular Biology is a 67th percentile. That is much higher than the average scores for those tests (589 E-Biology and 630 M-Biology). For those schools, the tests aren't that bad and shouldn't hold you back from acceptance, but you should still try and get those scores up.
