SAT prep in middleschool?

is it common for kids to take those? do you have to take SAT's in middle school also? im going to china next year to do it, but the math curriculum is 2 years ahead of america. Do i have to get ahead in my math than?

Usually no, if anything you are taking the PSAT which is the Practice SAT, and I would suggest if you are going to take the SAT then you might need to get ahead in your math if you are in middle school.
