  1. Plants also absorb carbon dioxide, so even if plankton is destroyed which is an awful thing to happen, there is still something in place to help get rid of carbon dioxide. i dont know if this helps at all but i hope its a  little clearer cheers!

  2. Balance will be lost... Most will be on underwater...

planktons are being eaten by small fishes... IF they're destroyed, big wish will dominate small fishes and they will be endager

  3. Please do not quote me as being exact . . . but I am pretty sure you will find this important.

I believe that over 75% or more of the oxygen we breathe comes from the planktons (and Algaes (q.v.)) in the Oceans, Seas, Lakes and other water sources on our fragile planet.  BOTH fresh and salt water.

See Even: "In nature, free oxygen is produced by the light-driven splitting of water during oxygenic photosynthesis. Green algae and cyanobacteria in marine environments provide about 70% of the free oxygen produced on earth and the rest is produced by terrestrial plants"

The answer to your question is simple.  If ALL the plankton were destroyed suddenly, all "Oxygen breathing" life would soon cease to exist.  Even the fish, who are dependent on oxygenated water "washing" through their gills.

    A scary scenario!

I have provided links for you, which I believe will give you MANY insights into your question, if you read it . . .
