  1. dealer said not yo use unless you drain gas from carb. it pits the aliminum and ruins gaskets

  2. if your talking about the fish p**s that floats on the surface of the ocean, then maybe a little because of acidity but probablly not so much.

  3. yes it does.

here's an excellent write-up on how-to, when and why:

I also add an ounce per gallon of gasoline to my tanks as a carbon preventive and fuel conditioner.  They say it helps keep the carbs clean -- but I try to do that by taking the boat out & running it hard every 3 - 4 weeks.

  4. I agree with jtexas on this, and I always run the carbs dry between uses.  Good Luck!

  5. As with any product, you will get the yes and no answers. In my case you would get a yes. I've been repairing cars for over 40 years and during the time that I performed smog evaluations I used Sea Foam to decarbon a lot of motors. I used the saturation technique, this allows the additive to soak in a hot engine for 15 minutes. When you start the vehicle, you had better be in a place that can tolerate a lot of smoke. Most of the time the vehicle would disappear until the engine ran clear. This greatly improved the reading on a 4 gas analyzer.
