SEO & Expiring Links?

My site contains dynamic links that expire and I'm losing SEO traffic when they expire. What do I need to do to keep these links? Updating my site to SEO friendly links will take time. I have thousands of pages.

  1. Sounds like your site is RSS based.

Problem with this is that you have no control of any of your content

You need to build some static links to your site from authority sites. It is going to be hard work and a long hog but it has to be done.

Try article marketing, usually a good article will soon generate a lot of links for you

Also social bookmarking eg http://niche.qassia.com [This social bookmarking site is new so it is not overrun by spammers and it's backlinks carry some PR value]

    Good luck

  2. Get more links from other site. Link building is a continues process otherwise your site will not get traffic and will drop rankings.

  3. Do a 301 redirect to new links or even to your homepage before these links expire to at least send the traffic from these links to a valid page.
