I was wondering when people get paid? Week?Month??? JUst wondering

Most jobs pay biweekly.  Every job I've had pays biweekly.  I can't think of anyone who gets paid weekly.  I do know a few who get paid monthly.  

Increasing the length of a pay period (the number of weeks you are getting paid for) decreases the amount of paperwork for your company when they process payroll.  It's somewhat silly for a company to pay weekly, it is in some ways double the paperwork; it increases costs significantly as they have to pay for more checks and electronic transaction fees (direct deposit)-- if charged for those.
