Saltwater Fish tank Stocking. Help Please!!!!

I am going to have a 950 gallon saltwater installed in my basement...

i do not know how many fish i should put in or what kind.

i have taken care of saltwater fish before, so that's taken care of.

but what kinds of fish would you suggest that would look pretty???

Sorry this is a matter of taste on your part.  While butterflys and triggers as well as royal blue tangs are beautiful fish there are a number of other readily available.

Check out saltwaterfish.com.  They have a nice listing with descriptions of each fish.  

Make two lists, one more agressive and one just with what you like.

Pick and choose, You will also have to decide live rock or not.  Corals.  Knowing if you want to go with corals, you will need to know what type of fish you cannot keep.

I would look for a variety  like butterflys, cardinals, tangs, sweetlips with perhaps a few queen fish.

If you decide to go with an agressive tank, perhaps a moray, scorpion fish, a lionfish.
