  1. the q6600 hands down it will last lnger and people wont laugh at you for having an amd  but nah the intel choise currently is the best choice and curently intel processors are perforing mch better ghz for ghz  


  2. If you are gaming or 3d rendering the amd is better if you are looking for better performance in general the intel is better.
