San Francisco Question???

Question

ok so i'm going to san francisco in october(oct.10-17)

and i was wondering what i should do there, i'm going there with my family and i'm a 13 year old girl

Mid-October is NOT a colder time in San Francisco, it is the time you are most likely to find nice warm weather.

Hit Fisherman's wharf, the downtown area, Haight/Ashbury and then try the beach on the Westside or down the coast about 30 minutes to Pacifica. Great little beach towns along the Pacific Coast Highway between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay. I'd start with that.

  Then you could go North and go over the Golden Gate to Mt. Tam and Muir woods. Great views and it winds down to Stinson Beach which is in the middle of nowhere. A great way to see nature.

Lots to do but nothing really for a kid your age. well that's not completely true. you obviously can go to the warf which is nice (full of tourists but still nice) go walk the golden gate...check out haight..its not really worth it anymore but its still something to see. but the best things are found in the golden gate park

the de young museum. the japanese tea gardens...strawberry fields (the hike up there will give you an amazing view of sf and its not a hard hike eaaaaaasy) you can take a tour up to twin peaks (a MUST). Head over to north beach and soma ..thats always fun. the views of the GG bridge from pacific heights is worth it.

there's lots of kids stuff going on at yebra buena gardens (ice staking, bowling lots of stuff other things..its a kids center at folsom and 4th street) but your best bet is heading to gg park. but your coming at a time when it will be more cold than usual. so the days might not agree with out doors activities.
