San diego cabo road trip?

Question

I want to this road trip.I dont live any where close so I cant use my own car. can I rent a car in the US for the drive down? which rental agency allows you to take car into mexico. do you reccomend renting in mexico? Buying an old used car is out of the question as I am no mechanic

there are only 1 or 2 rental agencies in san diego usa that allow you to take a rental car only as far as ensenada.

you need to rent your car in mexico to take this trip down to cabo.  look online to get your estimates.....

Here are three agencies in San Diego that will allow you to take a car into Mexico:

Becker Auto Rental

They work with the insurance company that we always use to buy our mex insurance and my husband once rented a car from ASAP when he was going down into Baja on business without us.  Car was fine, nothing fancy but it worked well and was economical.

ROAD TRIPS ARE THE BEST, BUT DOWN THRU MEXICO IS NOT LIKE ONE HERE IN THE USA.

       THERE ARE TOLLS, ALOT OF INSPECTIONS AND THE GAS IS MORE EXPENSIVE AND BURNS QUICKER.

     DOLLAR CAR RENTALS ALLOW TO TAKE THEIR CARS TO MEXICO. JUST BUY THE MEX. INSURANCE.  PACK YOUR STUFF, GRAB CASH AND DRIVE DOWN STRAIGHT.

        JUST BE PAITENT AND  DON'T PICK UP STRANGERS CAUSE IT CAN BE YOUR LAST DAYS.  

MEXICAN CAR RENTALS ARE A LITTLE BIT MORE EXPENSIVE. THEY CHARGE 65 DLLS WHICH COST 29 HERE. BUT THRU PLANE IT IS MUCH SAFER AND QUICKER.

    DOLLAR IS THE BEST ONE. TAKE CARE AND HAVE A GOOD TRIP.
