Sat question of the day???

I started doing the sat question of the day as practice for my sats. How long is an ideal amount that i should try to solve a math or english question in? because some of the math questions need to be worked out with pencil and paper and i would like to know if i am spending way to much time doing it.

You get slightly less than a minute for each English question and slightly more than a minute for each math question, so in general, you should spend about a minute on each question.

I took Princeton Review and the general rule of thumb is not to spend more than 2 minutes on any given question. Keep in mind that the math sections will either be 25 or 20 minutes and there are usually 17 or 18 questions, so you really can't afford to dwell on them.

Remember you can use a calculator, and if you're worried about time I would consider investing in a Princeton Review or College Board study guide (they're like $18) because they have some great time-saving tips. Or if you're in the position, take the PR class!
