Scene hair for Mixed kid?

I don't know what to do with my hair, I have an approximately 3" afro. When i straighten it I try to get it to come down over my forehead but I can't I think its my friends **** hair straightener!

also what would happen to my hair if I had it relaxed?

if u have african american hair and want it straight and scene then get it relaxed. a relaxer is pretty much like having your hair straightened permanently so it would take a lot of the maintanence out of it...but it's not cheap!

Rocking a fro is the best.  I had a good friend who was black in the scene and his hair surpassed everyone's.  He also had a HUGE afro lol

have it relaxed it may not get it completely straightnd, depending on your hair and how curly it is. but it makes it way easier to manage and it gets completely straight when you straighten it i'm a mixed kid to so i know my hair used to be an afro if i leaved it down for so long
