Schnitzel varieties and your preference.?

being a major fan of schnitzel, i am wondering how many varieties are known to exhist, and what is your favorite kind?

me? i looooooooooooove jagerschnitzel.

My favorite:  Zigeuner Schnitzel  =   Gypsy Schnitzel

Then there is the Jaeger Schnitzel (Hunter)  - the traditional Wiener Schnitzel - Holstein Schnitzel - Hungarian Schnitzel - Paprika Schnitzel, Kaese Schnitzel (Cheese)..... and so on !!!!

Wiener Schnitzel      ---the one with lemon

Jaeger Schnitzel      ---the one with mushroom

Paprika Schnitzelm   --the one with peppers (I love this one!)

I ablsolutely love jagerschnitzel too.  it's just great.  so is the REAL wienerschnitzel and rouladen too - i know it's not a schnitzel, but i just thought i'd mention it.  mmmmmm jagerschnitzel.....only 3 months till oktoberfest!! prost!!!!

I like the Hunter's version with gravy and mushrooms.  Oh yeah!

There are many. Visit and tour around Deutschland und Oesterreich. There are many local twists on the classic. My favorite is classic schnitzel with a classic green Frankfurt sauce.
