Scholership help with footbal?

im going into senior year of football, im not to excited but my coach says he can get me onto a d3 team which increases my chances of getting into tougher schools. can i accept the scholership and quit the team after im in? and if i do can i keep the need based financial aid?(or any other non-sports affiliated aid)

If I'm not mistaken, athletic scholarships do not consider players from division 3 teams. If you want a shot at an athletic scholarship, you better improve your game in football and prove you can be an important player in the main varsity team. Anything lower than that level isn't good enough.

However, athletic scholarships aren't the only scholarships out there. It would do good for you to search for need based scholarships as well as other types of scolarships offered and see which ones you can qualify for and then apply to those scholarships.

There are no scholarships for Division III teams. Sorry man.
