  1. Sounds like a character building experience, which probably explains the restrictions. Are they providing the food or do you have to dig up your own roots and tubers. ?

  2. a condom

  3. Put the blanket at the bottom of your clothes bag.

You want a designer duffel, you are camping not going to a fashion show.

Honestly no one will care what kind of bag you have your clothes in.

  4. stop whining yr camping in a cabin yr gunna be warm unlike proper camping in tents. and of course your gunna get muddy cold and wet its camping for **** sake thats what happens

  5. The camp supplying the bedding is no worse than a hotel supplying bedding.  There are laws and regulations governing how they sanitize bedding and other linens.

As for "smuggling" in another blanket, might I suggest a full cape or cloak as a fashion statement?  I used to do medieval recreation and, at its very core, a cloak is just a blanket held around your neck by a piece of jewelry.  I still use my cloak sometimes for a bit of extra warmth.  Or get a formal Scottish kilt, they're basically a wool blanket that you wrap around your middle.

Alternatively, if you're worried about being cold and don't want to stand out, a full length woolen dress coat is an adequate secondary blanket.

Other than that, make sure you follow their list.  They have reasons for every item there....and remember, you'll undoubtedly be carrying your own luggage, so don't pack too many extras.

As for "designer" duffels, you're going camping.  Go to an army/navy surplus and pick up a duffel bag...something in a nice cotton should be just fine.  And don't forget a laundry bag and/or a couple garbage bags, even if they're not on the list.  If you get wet and muddy, it's a godsend to be able to sequester the good from the bad and the ugly (clean from the dirty and wet).

  6. I went on a school camping trip once and I recall them allowing us to bring blankets and sleeping bags..

Have your parents talk to the counselors and allowing you to take a sleeping bag at least.. say it's for health reasons or something...

  7. well u jux put the blanket under some of your clothes or whatever. and while yall are going to sleep, pull out that blanket. and if they ask u why u brought a blanket. say because, it is to cold or whatever temp. it is and u was not about to sleep in cold weather. and don't sleep without the covers if u are sleeping on the ground. remember u don't always have to follow the supplies list. u can bring what u think is really useful for you. hope this works bye

  8. Cut a hole in the middle of your blanket and call it a poncho. Have your mom sew around the edges of the new hole to make it nice. But I suspect, if they don't allow blankets, that the cabins will be fully heated and air conditioned.
