Schools in America :) Help Please?

I'm from England. I am a little bit clueless on the whole USA school thing, so here it goes: yanno how USA have school types like elamentary school, middle school ect, well can you list all the different types and the age groups of each please? :) thank you.

Elementary is Kindergarten to fifth grade this starts a 5-6 years old and is done at 9-10 years old. then you have middle school which is normally 6th grade to 8th grade and is 10-11 yrs old and ends at about 14 years old. finally there is high school which is 9th grade through 12th grade and is 14-15 years old to 17-18 years old when you are done.

preschool-3-4 kindergarden-4-5 first grade-5-6 second-6-7 thrid-7-8 forth-8-9 fifth-9-10  then it goes to middle school which is 6th-10-11 seventh 11-12 eighth-12-14 then high school ninth-14-15 tenth-15-16 eleventh-16-17 senior-17-18 then college usually 18+
